Roger and Margaret Wilson-Hinds, a team of blind husband and wife has designed a new smartphone named Georgie. It has been programmed with voice assistance software that helps the user to compete different tasks with ease. Variety of applications are also been added that will permit the blind people to pinpoint location of bus stop, read the printed text on the screen and many more.

The said device is blessed to run on Android operating systems and sophisticated processor, to ensure uninterrupted service of the device. Talking about the smartphone, Mr Wilson-Hinds stated that, “I was capable of sending the first text easily just in the starting of this year, so all thanks to Georgie”.

Samsung SmartphoneDigital technology has been added to build the gadget, which will definitely solve many of the day to day related problems of blind people. Using this handset, they would feel more confident and go round the real world with independence.

Regarded as the first guide dog for the blind people, it is due the help of in-depth research that has turned a fruitful result of easy accessibility of smartphone. It is functioned using voice command and speech input for the convenience of the customers.
