The Giant of Finnish Telecommunications Nokia is plotting a completely different model as the successor of its freshly introduced Windows Phone 8 running Lumia 920. This stunningly designed product of the Finnish Firm was released
in November 2012 and since then it has shown warm reception across the Global Mobile Market.
At present the previous models for the Lumia series use polycarbonate to make them heavy and thicker in appearance. However, a robust and strong build quality has brought some criticism for this powerful handset. The 920 model has an attention grabbing body besides having a pack of impressive features and technical specifications.
However, as per the rumored reports all over online, the next successor of this robustly cultivated Windows Mobile phone will be made from Aluminum frame that will help in making this imminent product lighter and thinner than its precursors. Also known as ‘Catwalk’ as another name, the descendant will be expected to arrive in stores at some point this year. If designed in a real lighter frame, this upcoming phone will certainly help Nokia to compete with the likes of Apple iPhone 5 in weight and size departments.
Windows Phone 8 has been rewarded plenty of praises by those who have come across it thus far, but presently, the long-time iOS and Android customers may be a little cautious in taking a leap of confidence to what is still a fledgling mobile platform in the smart phone market.
Meanwhile, the outlook of a lighter, sleeker, and higher quality-of-build gadget after the Lumia 920 would surely help to throw a little more weight at the back of both Nokia and Windows Phones 8. There is little hesitation about the Nokia 920 that whether it is really the most stunning WP8 handset presently available, but aluminum body would positively lift the stakes to a great extend.
