Blackberry Storm 9500 and the Samsung Pixon M8800 both are touch screen mobile phones while the first one is a business focused device and the other one is a cool camera oriented gadget.

The Storm comprises of a huge 3.2 inches touch screen which displays up to 65K colors with screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The users will love the QWERTY keyboard that is featured on the screen of the handset. And the Samsung Pixon M8800 comes with a TFT touch sensitive display of exactly same measurement allowing 262K colors at 240 x 400 pixels resolution. Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate is a commonly presented feature.

The Samsung M8800 Pixon carries an 8 mega pixel camera with Auto Focus, Flash, Panorama Shot, Face Detection, Image Stabilizer, Image Geo Tagging etc. features for providing outstanding outputs. On the other hand, Blackberry Storm 9500 has got a 3.2 mega pixel camera that renders Auto Focus and Flash abilities.

The Blackberry Storm 9500 comes with a media player that allows MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WMA ProPlus music files on it. Furthermore, the special Roxio Media Manager capability has also been presented. The given video player supports MP4, 3gp, H.264, WMV video files. On the other hand, The Samsung Pixon M8800’s music player comes with Surround Sound System feature and it plays MP3, WMA, eAAC+ & AMR music files on it. DivX, XviD, H.263, H.264, WMV, MP4 video files are acceptable on the video player of the phone.

Both these contenders have got similar data sharing and connectivity abilities including 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, USB (Micro USB in case of Pixon), GPRS and EDGE. Document viewer is a common application given while the Storm allows editing them as well. The Blackberry Storm 9500 comes with only HTML web browser whereas the Pixon M8800 has got WAP 2.0, X-HTML and HTML browsers. But the first one has got RIM Wireless Modem feature as well. Both the rivals carry same navigation feature that includes GPS navigation system with A-GPS support but the Storm 9500 also sports Blackberry Maps application too.
